Job Title : Contract Recruiter Location : Remote Contract Duration : 3-4 months, with potential for extension Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Contract Recruiter to exclusively support an energy client's talent acquisition efforts. The Contract Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers and the HR team to identify staffing needs, source high-quality candidates, and guide them through our hiring process.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of finding exceptional talent. Key Responsibilities : Candidate Sourcing and Outreach Proactively source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct outreach. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for both current and future hiring needs.
Utilize creative sourcing techniques to attract both passive and active candidates. Screening and Selection Review resumes, screen applications, and conduct phone or video interviews to evaluate qualifications and fit. Conduct in-depth screening to assess technical and cultural alignment.
Present shortlisted candidates to hiring managers with detailed summaries and insights. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements, key competencies, and desired skillsets for each role. Partner with HR and hiring teams to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the recruitment pipeline, progress, and any challenges encountered. Process Optimization and Reporting Maintain accurate and organized records of candidate interactions and progress in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Analyze hiring metrics and adjust strategies to improve recruitment outcomes. Identify and suggest improvements to the recruiting process to enhance the candidate experience and streamline operations.
Candidate Experience Serve as a representative of the company, ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience from application through offer stage. Communicate promptly with candidates regarding application status, interview feedback, and any next steps. Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (preferred). Proven experience as a recruiter, with a strong background in sourcing and selection.
Expert in sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service. Previous experience recruiting in oil and gas industry Experience with high-volume recruiting or recruiting for specialized roles.
