Recruiter provides support to the Recruitment department and terminal location management teams. The Recruiter will be responsible for screening incoming applications, scheduling interviews and supporting terminal location managers. The ideal candidate will handle all initial and follow up communications with potential candidates using the ATS and track the new hire process until completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the recruitment coordinator for job placements in terminal locations 
  • Review candidate applications in applicant tracking system (ATS) and other platforms to fill vacant job openings
  • Use ATS daily to screen applicants, track the new hire process, keep notes on file and update candidate profiles
  • Maintain and monitor job boards and other talent management platforms (Indeed etc.
  • Reach out to qualified candidates in a timely manner to schedule interviews
  • Interview applicants by phone, video chat, and/or in-person
  • Schedule interviews with location management and notify staff of any changes
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process regarding the status of their application by phone, email, SMS text
  • Actively maintain positive candidate engagement throughout the entire onboarding process
  • Communicate initial hiring requirements to each candidate prior to start date such as identity employment authorizations, backgrounds checks, drug testing etc. 
  • Ensure candidates are consistently updated in ATS to match onboarding system
  • Provide additional assistance with candidate onboarding as required
  • Draft, edit and update job ads as requested 
  • Work closely with location management to ensure the hiring process runs smoothly 
  • Work with the Regional Recruitment team on ad hoc projects as needed
  • Report to the Director of Recruitment
  • Flexible with willingness for light travel, as needed and as circumstances dictate
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1+ years of recruiting human resources, onboarding experience is preferred
  • High School Diploma/GED or Associates Degree in human resources or related field
