Working side by side with the Director of Human Resources, this individual will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and bringing talent to our organization. This individual will oversee and maintain our ATS to manage job requisitions and talent community communication. He/she will support our branding initiatives through networking, community outreach and social media. He/she will provide general HR support from onboarding, training, employee file management, reporting, employee communication and event planning
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborating with Hiring Managers to determine desired skillset, performance profiles, and required experience for all open positions.
Writing and updating job ads/postings to target specific applicant pool as required
Conducting phone screens and onsite interviews to determine potential candidates
Scheduling and coordinating interviews for Hiring Managers and Leadership team as needed
Coordinating post offer assessments including background checks, drug screens, physical abilities tests, and reference checks
Identifying alternative recruitment methods to post and fill positions within targeted fill dates
Participating in community, veteran, and local colleges job fairs and hiring events to support our recruiting goals and branding initiatives.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date recruitment and applicant files including conducting regular I-9 audits.
Keeping updated on talent acquisition technologies and best practices
Providing support with training, reporting, and compliance as required
REQUIRED SKILLS TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Associates degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent training and experience
At least 2 years of solid sourcing and recruiting experience
Proficient with MS Office products and ATS required.
Must be Internet and social media savvy.
Ability to work with little direct supervision
Excellent organization with strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work with diverse work force where English is their 2nd language.
