Purpose of Position

The Recruiter, Senior manages, leads, and facilitates the recruitment process, serving as a consultant to customers and business partners. The Recruiter, Senior is responsible for administering recruiting policies and processes to attract, screen and hire qualified candidates for the Company. The Recruiter, Senior is responsible for assisting in recommending HR processes to improve efficiency and productivity; seeking out best practices for evaluation and review. The Recruiter, Senior works as a Project Manager leading efforts in managing the relocation and vendor management processes. The Recruiter, Senior also serves as a leader and mentor in the professional development of team members.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains strong consultative relationships with customer groups to establish recruiting strategy and execution by delivering qualified, diverse candidate slates. Continuous improvement in the customer experience with customers broadly defined as candidates, new hires, hiring managers, Human Resource partners and outside recruiters. Consistent follow-up with Managers to confirm staffing plans are met.

  • Accountable for management of third party vendors (Contingency, Retained, and Temporary Placement firms).

  • Understanding and implementing EEO/Affirmative Action compliance regulations into the daily work of recruiting and HR organization.

  • Utilizes Applicant Tracking System and other required HRIS systems to maintain data integrity of records for all hiring activities and employment decisions.

  • Act as Project Member or Lead on specific Human Resource-related projects.

  • Recruit top talent and achieve quarterly hiring goals.

  • Provide a unique high-touch experience for the candidate through every stage of the hiring process.

  • Strong experience in a corporate environment implementing a wide range of staffing programs and processes

  • Ability to apply consultative skills to customer base

  • Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with potential candidates to create future pipelines of talent

  • Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in a fast paced, ever-changing environment

  • Experience sourcing candidates through creative channels including, but not limited to networking, social networking, internet mining, university relations, etc.

  • Five (5) years experience working with an Applicant Tracking System, HRIS, or related HR Systems; understanding capability and enabling functionality

  • Lead, mentor and provide guidance and direction to recruiting team members

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
