RECRUITER Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt, Full Time Position Reports to:

Human Resources Director JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent to the organization. Incumbent will be responsible for full life cycle recruitment and onboarding efforts. Essential Functions Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.

Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.

Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.

Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, start dates, and other pertinent details. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Supervisory Responsibility This is not a supervisory position. This role will work collaboratively with positions in the same or different department. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen.

This is largely a sedentary role. This role would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and occasionally bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Other regular physical demands include standing, sitting, walking, stooping, repetitive motion, lifting not more than 15 pounds, reaching, typing.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position with 40 hours of work per week. The hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Paramus, NJ office. Travel No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required. At least three years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred. Work Authorization Must be authorized to work in the U.S without needing sponsorship at time of hiring or in the future.
