About the role

As a Recruiter, you'll partner with hiring managers across Roku's Media, Subscriptions, and G&A business areas to find qualified candidates, cultivate amazing experiences, and guide hiring managers and interview teams in their quest to hire the best person for each open position. Additionally, you'll use your strong project management skills to organize complex hiring situations, track competitive market intelligence, and keep things moving on track. You'll take ownership of streamlining our process, from resume review through new employee onboarding.

For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $90,000 and $115,000 annually.

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What you'll be doing

  • Act as a trusted talent acquisition advisor for hiring managers across Roku's Media, Subscriptions, and G&A organizations

  • Conduct effective talent strategy meetings on all new searches and own the end-to-end recruitment process, advising hiring managers on interview guidelines, sourcing plan, communication plan, and closing strategy

  • Thoroughly evaluate candidates, conduct recruiting screens, prepare professional write-ups, and present candidates to relevant stakeholders in an accurate and detailed manner

  • Analyze market research and understand the requirements of unique positions at Roku to identify qualified talent

  • Creatively and effectively source candidates using active and passive techniques including cold outreach and available recruiting tools (LinkedIn, HireEZ, etc.)

  • Collaborate and communicate at all levels to inform the Talent Acquisition and People teams, as well as the leadership teams of your assigned business area, about candidate updates and search specific statuses

  • Identify areas for improvement across our recruitment process and customers' experience , partner with those necessary to make the change

  • Strive for enthusiastically satisfied clients on every engagement; our candidate and hiring manager experiences are in our hands

We're excited if you have

  • 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience; with a preference for blended experience working both in-house and as an agency recruiter, sourcing for corporate, GTM, and technically oriented candidates

  • A high sense of urgency, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to successfully multi-task

  • Proven ability to source and identify candidates through social media and other methods (LinkedIn, Facebook, indeed, complex Boolean strings, etc.)

  • Experience using Greenhouse, Workday, or other similar applicant tracking systems

  • Sound business judgment and common-sense to approach obstacles and solve problems encountered during candidate searches

  • An eye for detail and a data-driven approach to making recruiting decisions

  • A proven track record of closing candidates to accepted offers

  • Experience balancing the demands of the customer with the defined constraints of the candidate search

  • Experience running recruitment-related programs, events, etc.

  • Ability and willingness to recruit for other positions as requested
