We are seeking a seasoned, highly talented, and personable Recruiter to work on a part-time basis (contracted through a staffing agency) to help us find the best talent to support our growth. This role will support the Asheboro, NC manufacturing plant location with an open-ended duration.

Responsibilities:

  • Full life-cycle recruiting (sourcing through to onboarding)

  • Review and screen resumes and pre-screen and qualify applicants/candidates

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews (phone and on-site)

  • Negotiate and present offers

  • Coordinate post-offer screenings including: background checks, drug tests, education verification, and employment history verification.

  • Recruit passive candidates and maintain a pipeline for future openings

  • Research, recommend and implement innovative sourcing methods and strategies

  • Partner with HR and hiring managers to create new job openings in applicant tracking system as requested

  • Manage online postings to include company website and ATS

  • Recognize opportunities for improvement and recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment

  • Run recruitment reports as requested

  • Assist HR with other various administrative tasks

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of in-house full-life cycle recruiting experience, sourcing/initial contact through onboarding.

  • Focused recruiting experience for non-exempt light industrial skill sets including: Equipment Operators, Maintenance Technicians, Material Handlers, and other manufacturing support roles.

  • ATS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates.

  • MS Office - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to form collaborative relationships with all levels of leadership and front-line employees.

  • Strong prioritization and multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a close attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with both full-time and contingent workforces.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
