Were looking for a driven and outgoing individual to lead full-cycle recruiting and help us grow our current and future teams in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Virginia. In addition to recruiting, youll be involved with the development of onboarding, training and career growth programs for new and existing employees.
Our Recruiter will work with the Operations, Marketing and Senior Leadership Team within all of our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Franchises and other entities within Maverick Brands. The scope of work will be determined by David Wise, CEO. The day to day direct reporting relationship will be with Bobbi Spencer, Chief of Staff, Maverick Brands. The recruiter is expected to work the number of hours necessary to achieve our goals. The exact number of hours will vary weekly, but the expected average will be approximately 40 hours (full time) or 20-30hrs (part time) with certain weeks requiring more. A typical work week will be Monday-Wednesday and Saturday-Sunday.
Performance will be monitored and reviewed on a regular basis, beginning with a performance review 90 days from the first day worked. There will be a subsequent performance review 6 months from the first day worked with a potential for an adjustment to the compensation package at that time.
Source all available technology to enhance recruitment efforts (CATS, Indeed,LinkedIn, Facebook groups, college job boards,etc)
Participate in job fairs and on campus recruiting
Establish a robust internal employee referral program
Promote poaching of outside talent
Post job ads & monitor application flow by responding promptly
Select and contact appropriate candidates based on job requirements
Execute pre screen requirements (approval to drive, background checks)
Conduct phone screens
Schedule face to face interviews with GM or Operations Manager
Follow up with hiring decision and job offer
Manage and collect data week to week to analyze recruiting trends (hire rate, application rate, etc)
Monitor cost per hire and adjust budgets weekly
Understand current recruiting climate and implement any adjustments or ideas that need to be made to get results
Analyze retention and turnover rate and collaborate with GMs, etc to improve
Qualifications: (prefered but not necessary)
1+ year of professional recruiting experience
Excellent written/verbal communication
Values process, execution and results
Experience with an ATS is a plus
