The Role

In this role, you will support our North American Service organization, a team which is growing rapidly and competing for the best talent to help evangelize our mission and accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with business leaders and hiring managers to assess their talent requirements and advising on the best hiring strategy

  • Managing the time and resources at your disposal effectively and keeping all your business partners up to speed on a regular basis

  • Sourcing passive candidates through multiple approaches as required by the specifics of the role

  • Conducting thorough behavioral based interviews and phone screens to assess both skills for the role as well as the ability to be successful in the Tesla environment

  • Focusing on providing a great candidate experience at every opportunity

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of excellence in sourcing and assessing talent (expert user of LinkedIn and other key sourcing tools)

  • Proven track record in hiring at volume (carrying at least 15-20 reqs at any one time)

  • Proven relationship management experience with hiring teams and business stakeholders, helping them navigate the sources of talent and assisting them with assessment

  • A genuine interest to grow and develop and hone your recruiting skills as shown by continuous learning throughout your career

  • Skilled in offer negotiation, awareness of pertinent employment legislation and employment market trends

  • The ability to lead projects to successful conclusion balancing efficiency with quality

  • A combination of corporate and agency experience is preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience

Education

Minimum BS/BA or equivalent in business or related field is required

The North America (NA) Securities Prime Brokerage and Financing Product Control Team (the "team"), within Prime Finance Finance & Business Management, is primarily responsible for the independent production, review and approval of the daily P&L ensuring the accuracy and completeness of business revenues. Other responsibilities include daily risk reporting, supporting the business on the wider financial aspects of their activities such as balance sheet and capital, advising on accounting, regulatory and booking issues, participation in the new product approval process and overall signoff of the business's financial statements including regulatory returns. The team is also responsible for ensuring the continued appropriateness of the control environment. The stock loan business provides secured financing to both clients and the wider trading businesses of the CIB. The products traded by the business include: margin loan, stock borrow loan, equity swaps, options and futures. Role description Successful candidate will be responsible for assisting/managing either the Cash Prime Brokerage or Stock Loan section of the team covering the following functions: * Performing next day P&L reconciliation and substantiation for the business, identifying and resolving issues resulting in breaks between the estimate and the actuals reported in Front Office P&L systems. * Supporting the month end financial close. * Ensuring processes and controls are in line with corporate minimum standards, creating a culture of continual challenge and improvement in the control environment & where possible eliminating manual processes. * Review and reporting of movements in the business's balance sheet. Investigation and communication of business drivers underpinning significant financial movements for Senior Management, Corporate Controllers, Regulatory Reporting and other ad hoc finance groups. * Regulatory and External reporting for product specific disclosures.
