National Railroad Safety Services has an immediate opening for a Recruiter in Frederick, MD.
Education/Experience:
Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of an associate degree in Human Resources or related field. Work experience may be substituted for education.

Qualifications:
- 2 + years of recruiting experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience that produces the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Demonstrated exposure to and execution of recruitment processes along with the ability to source, evaluate, and select talent.
- Ability to handle all situations in a consistent, professional, and confidential manner.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- A self-starter who is energetic, a fast learner, and able to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently.
- Ability to communicate respectfully with others and work in a team environment.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
Job Duties:
- Manage the entire recruiting lifecycle in compliance with National Railroad Safety Services standards to include, but not limited to sourcing and advertising positions, Applicant Tracking System activity, resume screening, interviewing, feedback management, and hiring recommendations.
- Communicate with candidates in a variety of methods, including in-person, phone, email, Internet based (Microsoft Teams), etc.
- Collaborate with District Managers to identify future hiring needs and opportunities.
- Conduct reference checks and pre-employment screening processes.
- Meet with and assist new team members with onboarding paperwork, orientation, and additional activities to ensure their successful start with the company.
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Assist with various HR task as assigned.
- Provide support to the Human Resources Manager, Controller, and President as needed.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Performs other duties that are reasonably associated with the above essential functions and additional duties as assigned.
