Our client a Global Electronic and Recycling Company - is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced recruiter to join their HR Team. The recruiter is responsible for the full life-cycle talent acquisition process of finding and hiring a wide range of and often hard to find - skills.
This is not a sit-at-your-desk recruiting position. Youll also be out and about hunting for some difficult, and very popular, skills such as Class A drivers. This means you must to be adept at recruiting for, and comfortable working in, a manufacturing/industrial environment.
What Youll Be Doing:
Full life-cycle recruiting for industrial talent, both exempt and non-exempt.
Collaborating with the Regional Director of HR to craft creative ways for sourcing in-demand talent.
Provide feedback to management recruiting campaigns.
Some travelling around the Bay Area as part of your hunting for talent strategy.

What Were Looking For:
A proven track record of recruiting industrial and/or manufacturing skills.
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work with all levels of management to understand their hiring needs.
At least 5 years of recruiting experience and recent experience in, or supporting, manufacturing.
Experience working with an ATS.

VIEW JOBS 11/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-09T00:00 The Position THE POSITION A Police Officer Trainee attends a Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Certified Police Recruit Academy full-time. Upon successful completion of the POST Academy, trainees are eligible for immediate appointment to the position of Police Officer. Police Officers, working under the philosophy of community policing, are responsible for protecting persons and property; maintaining order; preventing crime and juvenile delinquency; controlling traffic; specialized administrative or investigative duties; and writing reports. Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; * Be at least 21 years of age; * Have completed the equivalent of ten (10) semester or fifteen (15) quarter units at a college or university (must provide proof); OR completion of basic and advanced training in the armed forces and receipt of an honorable discharge with a copy of the DD214 (must provide proof); * Have no felony convictions; * Have a T-score from the Post Entry Level Law Enforcement Battery Test (PELLEBT), also called POST Test, of 48 or above obtained within the last 12 months at the time of application;* * Possess a valid California driver's license and a satisfactory driving record; * Have vision uncorrected 20/100 in each eye, corrected to 20/30 in each eye; * Have normal color vision; * Have normal hearing; and * Be a United States citizen or have filed for citizenship at least one (1) year before applying for the police officer position. * Note: All applicants must provide a copy of a valid PELLEBT/POST Test score of 48 or above from a test taken within the past 12 months at the time of application. All applicants must submit a completed City of Richmond Employment Application, attach proof of a valid T-score, and answer the supplemental questions ONLINE. Applicants can apply by visiting the City of Richmond's employment page at Please fill out the Employment Application completely (including places of employment with complete addresses; i.e., number and street name, city and state, names of supervisors with telephone numbers, etc.), answer supplemental questions, and attach required documents. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE REJECTED. 2. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be invited to participate in a Physical Agility Test and a Writing Sample Exercise (Essay). The Physical Agility Test will be waived for candidates who provide proof of successful completion of the Sample Test Battery provided by a POST accredited police academy with a minimum passing score of 384, within 6 months of application. The Physical Agility Test will consist of the following four events: * OBSTACLE COURSE/AGILITY RUN (TWO TRIALS): Maximum time allowed – 33.9 seconds. * BODY RESCUE/DRAG (TWO TRIALS): Maximum time allowed - 28.9 seconds. * SOLID FENCE AND CHAIN LINK FENCE (TWO TRIALS): 25 yards – Turn around – 25 yards Maximum time allowed – Solid: 15.1 seconds Chain: 19.6 seconds. * 500 YARD RUN (ONE TRIAL): Maximum time allowed – 199.9 seconds (3 mins. 33 seconds) 3. Candidates who successfully pass the Physical Agility Test will be placed on an unranked Employment List. This list will be submitted to the Police Department for further review. The Employment List is valid for four (4) months, unless extended an additional four (4) months. 4. The Police Department will review applications and select the better qualified candidates for oral board interviews. Being placed on the Employment List does not guarantee that you will be chosen to continue in the selection process. 5. Candidates who are selected for an interview will be interviewed by at least two sworn members of the Richmond Police Department. At this time, your Writing Sample Exercise (Essay) will be evaluated. 6. After oral board interviews, a select number of candidates will be asked to complete and submit a Personal History Questionnaire. 7. The Personal History Questionnaire will be reviewed and evaluated based on hiring requirements. 8. A select number of candidates will begin the background investigation process which consists of a polygraph, fingerprinting and a meeting with a background investigator. The background process can take up to 30 days. 9. Better qualified candidates will be given a conditional offer of employment and will be scheduled for a medical evaluation and psychological assessment. This process can take up to 10 days. 10. Candidates who successfully pass the medical evaluation and psychological assessment may meet with the Police Chief for a final interview. The Police Chief will make the final hiring decision. 11.
