As a Recruiter (TA Specialist), you will own the full life-cycle talent acquisition process for the Columbia, SC manufacturing facility inclusive of hourly and salary hiring. You will partner with hiring managers and People Operations team to better understand open roles within each function while supporting talent needs. You will work closely with external candidates to ensure an outstanding candidate experience is delivered on a consistent basis through active sourcing and pre-selection.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning (10%)
Develop and execute a customized sourcing plan for each assigned opening.
Partner with Hiring Managers and People Operations Partners to set recruiting strategies that include sourcing diverse passive candidates, applicants, and managing the flow of employee referrals.
Technical Functions (45%)
Provide end to end candidate experience, inclusive of:
Prepping candidates for interviews
Creating excitement for the Mark Anthony Group Inc. opportunities
Timely communication/follow-up
Providing clear process steps
Following up with hiring leaders, asking for feedback
Sending documents and logistics for interviews in a timely manner
Manage candidate expectations as needed
Closing candidates by presenting offers inclusive of purpose principles and total compensation.
Review resume submissions, screen applicants for culture fit, technical competence, and applicable background and skills.
Conduct behavioral interviews to assess individual goals and ability to fit in the organization and function effectively.
Provide each hiring team with a diverse slate of candidates.
Utilize tools & resources to expand the candidate pool outside of applicants and identify/source qualified passive candidates. Initiate first-round candidate contact, network with referral sources and effectively and persuasively communicate the opportunity to contacted individuals.
Responsibility for full life cycle recruitment - from developing compelling job advertisements and sourcing strategies, posting positions, networking with passive talent pools and partnering with third party recruiters, to developing interview strategies, gathering interviewer feedback, leading debrief sessions and facilitating the offer negotiation process.
Demonstrate data integrity in the ATS and ensure consistent ATS utilization & updates to meet compliance and business needs as well as internal reporting.
Logistical Functions (35%)
Continuously and proactively build a candidate pipeline.
Manage full-life cycle process from sourcing through the offer process, including scheduling interviews and candidate travel, soliciting feedback from both the hiring manager as well as the candidate and providing offer recommendations and extending offers.
Team & Leadership Functions (10%)
Establish relationships with Hiring Managers to get a full understanding of their business objectives, business challenges and team culture.
Drive a strong candidate and manager experience through a high touch and consultative recruiting process ensuring positive experience throughout the process.
Identify and participate in key improvement projects and initiatives in areas such as Diversity & Inclusion, Candidate Experience, and Talent Acquisition Process Excellence.
Qualifications, Education, & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in business, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, ore related field required
1-3 years of recruiting experience required, within a manufacturing environment for hourly & salary hiring
Sourcing skills and ability to leverage social media recruiting tools such as LinkedIn & Indeed for sourcing & recruiting
Proven track record of working with varying levels of management (front line through mid-levels) and manage multiple priorities across multiple internal customers while managing a req load of at least 30
Knowledge and understanding of EEOC and other recruiting related regulations
Experience utilizing ATS system to manage applicant flow
Agency and Corporate recruiting experience preferred
Skills & Abilities
Proficient knowledge in all facets of full life-cycle recruiting including: sourcing active and passive candidates, developing profile and strategy for search, qualifying and assessing talent, salary trends and strong negotiating/influencing skills
Ability to build productive, collaborative relationships with hiring managers and People Operations partners
