Key responsibilities include full lifecycle recruiting at all levels. Partnering with hiring managers to identify and define specific recruiting needs: use creative ways to source and recruit for open positions, exempt and non-exempt; recommend and coordinate appropriate hires for each open position; monitor and track open positions/requisition process.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Post openings to appropriate Internet sources, handling full recruiting life cycle, Identifying, establishing and maintaining community resources that will produce qualified candidates. Review resumes and evaluate if they meet the position requirements, Conducting interviews, Recommending candidates, Monitoring Affirmative Action Plans flow and selection.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EDUCATION:

5+ years of Professional Recruiting experience, Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

The ability to work independently, organizes work, and meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Adaptability to perform multiple projects simultaneously.

3+ years' experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.

Bachelor's Degree Preferred.

This is a lead position for the local Army National Guard Recruit Sustainment Program. In addition to functioning as a team lead, you will contact newly enlisted Soldiers, coordinate their reception at the RSP, and sponsor them upon arrival. Additional key responsibilities will include the following: * Contact Soldiers monthly regarding drill attendance, pre-shipping preparations, and other information as required. * Screen Soldiers on administrative, medical, educational, and other eligibility topics as needed. * Monitor Soldiers for potential retention issues, and make every effort to mitigate those issues or process them for separation. * Manage IET ship dates within prescribed timeframes to ensure maximum training seat utilization. * Provide qualitative screening to ensure Soldiers are mentally prepared, administratively correct, and physically fit for shipping. * Communicate with the IADT Manager, MEPS Guidance Counselors, and TRADOC Liaisons regarding IADT Soldier issues. Respond to LNO tickets ASAP. * Maintain the Vulcan Database and perform daily input to actions relating to Soldiers, training, and the RSP site. * Coordinate transition for DMOSQ Soldiers leaving the RSP to begin drilling with their respective unit. * Provide quality control for all documentation in the Soldier's shipper packet.
