Group Summary

Magna is an innovative leader in the development and manufacturing of seating structures, foam and trim, mechanisms, and complete seats for global automotive, heavy truck and bus industries. Seating is at the center of the consumer vehicle experience and our seating solutions are developed from consumer research, prioritizing comfort, convenience and connectivity.

• Lead and coordinate the recruiting activities of direct hire team members to support plant staffing requirements. This may include advertising, scheduling, interviewing, and assisting if needed with post-offer screening and scheduling orientation. Ensure the process is followed in a timely and effective manner (requisitions, postings internal/external, candidate review, scheduling, reference checks, offer letters, rejection emails, follow-up, etc.)

• Excellent follow-up skills needed

• Conduct interviews covering a number of areas (i.e., Background, Education, Experience, Job Related Questions, etc.) in a professional manner

• Prepare and coordinate activities involving Career/Job Fairs when needed

• Coordinate and communicate with the Hiring Manager to ensure timely information is provided to them.

• Responsible for candidate tracking.
