Recruiter

LHH is representing a stable manufacturing organization seeking to hire a Recruiter in the Greater Kansas City area. The Recruiter will head up talent acquisition efforts for two local manufacturing facilities.

This person will directly recruit for a variety of positions, from associate to director level, as well as work closely with two onsite agencies that handle the bulk of the staffing for the hourly production roles. This role involves close collaboration with hiring managers as well as vendor partners to understand staffing requirements and devise effective recruitment strategies to fulfill those needs. This is a full time, onsite position based in Lawrence, KS that offers a competitive salary, bonus potential, a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities include: Develop and execute recruitment plans; complete full recruitment cycle activities. Source candidates using LinkedIn, Indeed, and ATS; conduct interviews via phone, video and in-person.

Handle preboarding, onboarding, and orientation; maintain ATS and HRIS systems. Build recruitment outreach through community and online networks; organize and attend recruitment events. Manage staffing agency contracts; work closely with vendors filling high volume contract and contract-to-hire openings.

Improve recruitment processes and job cycle times; report recruitment metrics and maintain accurate documentation. Requirements: At least 2 years of high-volume recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution or a similar industry. Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related is preferred, but commensurate professional experience will be considered.

Proficiency with varied technology including with ATS & HRIS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Indeed. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a huge plus Clear and concise communication in a fast-paced environment. Ability to build positive relationships with onsite and remote management.
