LHH is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Recruiter to join a leading HVAC company in Smyrna, GA. The Recruiter will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from candidate pre-hire through new hire onboarding, ensuring all activities are completed with urgency, consistency, and accuracy.
This role requires strong collaboration with hiring managers and project teams, as well as the ability to provide an excellent recruiting and onboarding experience for candidates and employees. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, is comfortable staffing Service Technicians , and is capable of understanding the unique demands of technical and field-based positions. Key Responsibilities:
Manage Full-Cycle Recruitment : Oversee the entire recruiting process from candidate pre-hire to new hire onboarding, ensuring all activities are completed with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. Service Technician Staffing : Source, interview, and onboard qualified Service Technicians , ensuring candidates meet the technical skills and safety requirements necessary for the role. Comfortably navigate the challenges of recruiting for technical and field-based positions.
Candidate Skills Testing : Facilitate candidate skills testing for technical positions, ensuring assessments align with job requirements and safety standards. Onboarding Support : Provide support to other recruiters and teams with onboarding tasks, ensuring all new hires, particularly Service Technicians, are processed efficiently and professionally. Collaboration with Project Managers : Work closely with Project Managers to understand hiring needs for technical staff and ensure roles are filled promptly with qualified candidates.
Responsive Communication : Handle incoming calls from applicants and employees, providing guidance and answering questions to ensure a positive experience during the recruiting and onboarding process. HR Inquiries : Assist with internal and external HR-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate information in accordance with company policies.
Process Compliance : Ensure all HR activities, including recruitment and onboarding, are completed in accordance with established HR Work Processes and company policies.
Process Improvement : Actively identify opportunities for improving recruiting and onboarding processes and suggest actionable solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Relationship Building : Foster positive, professional relationships with internal teams, hiring managers, and candidates, maintaining a high level of customer service throughout the recruitment process. Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. At least two years of experience in a related recruiting or HR role, with a focus on recruitment and onboarding processes. Proven experience in staffing technical or field-based positions , including Service Technicians.
High level of proficiency with DISA (Drug and Alcohol Testing Compliance) and related recruitment software. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with recruiting for technical and field-based positions , such as Service Technicians or similar roles. Familiarity with the company's business operations and industry-specific recruiting needs.
