Overview

We are seeking a talented Recruiter to join our team in Dallas, TX. As a Kimley-Horn Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in attracting and hiring top talent for our organization. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and making job offers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growing organization and shape our recruiting team across Texas. This is NOT a remote/hybrid position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates for a variety of positions, with a focus on engineers and designers with 1-10 years of experience.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific talent needs and create job descriptions and qualifications criteria.

  • Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to identify potential candidates.

  • Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates to ensure their qualifications match the job requirements.

  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, both in-person and via video conferencing, to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.

  • Collaborate with the HR team to facilitate background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment processes.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking system.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve our talent acquisition processes.

  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and other networking opportunities to promote our employer brand and attract top talent.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 2+ years of experience as a Recruiter or similar role, preferably within a fast-paced corporate environment, ideally with A/E/C industry experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other HR software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to work independently and proactively, while also collaborating effectively with team members.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

  • Must be willing to work in the office full time
