As a member of the HR team, the duties and responsibilities of the Recruiter include:
Work with department managers on full cycle recruiting plans
Creation, modification, and posting of job description listings
Source, review, and screen candidates; conduct phone interviews and schedule/coordinate in-person interviews
Effectively fill and maintain optimal personnel in open positions across our Mountain West locations
Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
Proactively develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance; Build networks to find qualified passive candidates
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
Assist marketing in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally
Coordinate and attend recruiting initiatives & career fairs
Assist in preparing, coordinating, and sending new hire onboarding packages
Collaborate with the HR, Operations, & Accounting in improving onboarding experience
Manage the use of staffing agencies
Manage the ATS and HRIS for accuracy and ensure timely updates/changes
Performs other HR duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
2+ years experience with recruiting, training, employee retention, or new hire onboarding preferred
College degree preferred or equivalent experience
Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
Ability to communicate with various departments and foster collaboration
Team player with a positive attitude
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and coaching skills
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and ad-hoc requests
General knowledge with state and federal laws, employment laws, regulations, and best practices applicable human resources
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; skills in database management and record keeping a plus
Maintains the highest level of privacy and confidentiality regarding sensitive HR information, communications, etc.
Requirements:
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Remaining in a stationary position at a desk with a computer, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
