Position Description

This position will be responsible for providing World Class Recruiting Services to the Ryder organization in a cost effective manner, while continuously searching and providing state of the art Recruitment methodology. Position identifies, recruits, interviews and recommends candidates for entry and mid-level, high volume positions and managerial, technical, and/or professional positions.

Additonal Requirements:
ICIMS expeirence and must be fluent in Spanish and English.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or minimum of 8 (eight) years equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 2 (two) years experience in a related area

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • General knowledge of functional area(s) assigned

  • Must have business perspective

Responsibilities

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Source, screen, interview and refer candidates to hiring manager

  • Determine best approach to fill assigned positions

  • Develop effective working relationships with placement agencies and external recruiters

  • Maintain effective working relationships with HR and business partners to ensure appropriate service levels are met

  • Ensure compliance with all legal aspects of recruiting

  • Promote Ryder as an employer of choice

  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions

  • Work in compliance with established procedures and protocols

SUMMARY: The Warehouse Associate II is accountable, under general supervisionand demonstrated ability to successfully trouble shoot warehouse issues, tofill customer order requirements with strong team coordination and follow-through abilities, and to complete thefull cycle of warehouse functions of picking, packing, stocking, documentingand shipping customized orders, accurately and expeditiously; as well as drivecompany vehicles to transport material to and from specified locations, aslicensed and trained. The Warehouse Associate II, will be responsible for locatingappropriate product with a radio frequency system, when applicable; pullingrequired quantities and sizes (counting/weighing), and packaging and preparingmaterial for shipment. This fast-paced position consistently requires a highvolume of productivity; with strong attention to detail to variances in productidentification; ability to accurately understand and follow writtenspecifications; perform data entry; and follow customized requirements withtrained knowledge of quality standards and customer specifications. DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Learn,maintain and apply accurate knowledge and understanding of Wesco Warehouse workinstructions, policies and procedures in all work practices and decisions * OperateWesco vehicle to transport material to and from specified locations, aslicensed and trained * Driveforklift and/or order picker, when certified * Receivematerial from vendors and enter data in computer * Pullor stock materials using Radio Frequency (RF) system, as required * Obtaincross-training to assist in other Warehouse functions, as needed * Count,bag and label per warehouse/customer requirements * Utilizecarrier and third party shipping system to ship product * Packageand prepare material for shipment * Countand record material to ensure accuracy * Utilizescale to weigh and/or hand count product per warehouse/customer specifications * Utilizelabel printer to prepare labels, as needed * Returnremaining product to proper location * Meetestablished standards for quality and productivity * Followsafety regulations in all work processes * Attendregular and impromptu departmental meetings and company training, as required REQUIREMENTS: * High School Diploma or GED * Recent forklift certification training and currentforklift license is preferred * Minimum of two years' warehousing experience in anaerospace facility or combination of warehousing and training * Demonstrated ability to perform basic trouble shootingof warehouse issues * Demonstrated ability to be alert and aware of warehousesafety issues and safeguards, and applying safety standards * Strong verbal and written communication skills, withprofessional daily interaction with internal and/or external customers (astrained) * Ability to work well within a team environment andindependently, as needed * Ability to be detailed oriented and perform basicresearch, if required * Ability to utilize knowledge of the integrated database systems,including Outlook, Word and Excel, as needed This position requires use ofinformation which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic inArms Regulations (ITAR).
