The Physical Stores Recruiting Team is looking for a Full Life Cycle Recruiter to join the team. This Recruiter will work with their peer recruiters to drive strategies for candidate attraction and closing. They will foster a collaborative team environment and a strong service oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, quality driven service to internal customers.

The candidate must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs. They have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation, client/account management, organization, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize their time, demonstrate push back and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done. The best candidates will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR business partners.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.

  • Must be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates and understand their motivation.

  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conducts in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios.

  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.

  • Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process.

  • Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.

  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings.

Essential Functions: * Develop and expand applicant sourcing by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites. * Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications and seeking clarification from Sr. Recruiter and hiring managers. * Assist in the implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System (most likely Greenhouse) * Attract applicants by placing job advertisements and contacting external recruiters Assist in building a robust social media presence for NanoString from both an employer and employee point of view * Recruit passive job seekers by making connections with qualified individuals who are not actively applying for new employment using a variety of recruiting and social media tools such as LinkedIn * Effectively evaluate candidates using applicant screening tools and by conducting phone and in person interviews. . * Under guidance from the Senior Recruiter, develop effective working relationships with hiring managers and other staff to ensure clear communication regarding recruiting efforts. * Under the direction of the Senior Recruiter, manage candidate scheduling process including coordinating complicated interview schedule coordinating candidate travel, distributing schedules to the interview team, and handling interview day logistics (greeting candidates and escorting them to interviews. * Conduct candidate references and background checks. * Assure effective hand-off of new hires to HR Coordinator to allow for timely onboarding activities. * Ensure that established recruiting processes and best practices are consistently followed. * Participate in local external recruiting activities such as job fairs and industry recruiting and networking events. * Provide ideas for process improvement and efficiencies, Assist in compensation research survey input and compilation of data for hiring decisions. * Assist with other HR duties as needed Requirements: * 3-5 years of proven successful recruiting experience either in a corporate or agency setting. * Experience working with modern ATS such as Greenhouse, Lever, JobVite, etc. * Experience must include recruiting for technical positions (sciences, technology, engineering, or other). * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Life Sciences, or related field required. * Possess a high sense of urgency and good judgement. * Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately. * Strong business acumen along with highly effective written and verbal communication skills is required. * Enthusiasm, passion for working with people, and an internal drive to execute on goals and deliverables. * High degree of professionalism, personal integrity, a commitment to achieve personal and team success. * Excellent follow up skills and attention to detail. * Willingness to work in a fast paced and demanding environment and a strong desire to learn and excel in the Recruiting field.
