A Brief Overview
The Recruiter is responsible for general recruiting needs and under the direction of the Recruiting Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of talent, as well as supporting other recruiting team members as needed. The role is responsible for managing the full cycle of the recruiting process, from creating job requisitions in collaboration with hiring managers, to on-boarding candidates.
What you will do
- Supports the full cycle recruitment effort for various non-exempt positions and locations across the United States.
- Seeks out applicants with the right combination of experience, education, and skills to fill a position.
- Works with hiring managers to develop recruiting plans.
- Publicizes openings by posting them in appropriate outlets and works toward developing a pool of qualified candidates.
- Identifies recruiting opportunities by researching new sources for talent, cultivates relationships with industry professionals, and networks with post-secondary educational institutions and staffing agencies as appropriate. Represents the Company at public events, such as job fairs and community job outreach programs.
- Screens applicants and interviews potential hires. Makes recommendations, writes offer letters, conducts reference checks, and negotiates offers, when necessary.
- Supports and administers on-boarding programs for new hires to foster a clear understanding of company benefits, policies, and procedures; ensures new hires have equipment prior to start date.
- Effectively evaluates applicants and sourced candidates' requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications.
- Assists in the coordination of recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meets with manager to discuss needs.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for candidates, provides information about the company and position, recruiting strategy, performance objectives, and expectations.
- Communicates with supervisors, managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauges morale, and sources new candidate leads.
- Leverages social media, multiple network sources, online tools, industry relationships, and community involvement to identify top talent.
- In collaboration with Recruiting Supervisor, generates recruiting related reports and performance data analysis for the management team.
- Builds relationships with passive candidates and talent pools to deliver upon both immediate and short-term needs. Demonstrates the ability to build strategic long-term networks to be leveraged in the future.
- Provides training to hiring managers, interviewers, and other internal stakeholders on recruiting processes, policies, and best practices.
- Proactively identifies talent for future business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Human Resources, Administration, Management, or related field Preferred
- 1-3 years of full cycle recruitment experience Required and
- must have experience in partnering with hiring managers. Required
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
- Excellent critical thinker with exceptional communication and analytical skills.
- Advanced Computer skills in MS office suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated candidate sourcing background.
- Strong knowledge of best practices for recruiting, interviewing and extending and/or negotiating offers.
- Collaborative and creative team player.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
- Requires a self-motivated, team player with excellent verbal and written communications skills who pays close attention to detail and who can prioritize in a fast-moving environment with excellent consulting, client management and business literacy skills.
- Strong conflict management, interpersonal and negotiation skills are required. Develop strong trusting relationships in-order to gain support and achieve results.
- Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issues. Manage multiple business unit needs in multiple locations.

- Self-directed and motivated.
- Takes initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.
Compensation
We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally between $66,000 - $73,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the general Hiring Range for the role. Hiring at the top of the range is reserved for exceptionally qualified candidates. We consider internal and external factors as a part of every final offer. We also offer a generous total compensation and benefits package.
