Recruiter - Human Resources - Full Time

The Recruiter acts as the primary link between an employer or organization and a potential job candidate. Responsible for duties such as conducting interviews, reviewing resumes, and ensuring the organization is paired with a candidate who will meet and fulfill the needs of the employer or organization. Works with candidates and new hires through the onboarding and orientation process.

Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Build relationships with schools who graduate professional clinical personnel to include nurses, radiology and laboratory personnel, etc.

• Create and host recruiting events.

• Strong relationships with clinical directors and an understanding of their staffing needs.

• Strong relationships with HR Directors and Generalists.

• Strong relationships with students performing rotations at HRMC.

• Developing and implementing strategy to recruit and retain staff.

• Reviewing applicants' resume/curriculum vitae.

• Facilitating and placing employees and students at clinics, hospitals, and other medical facilities.

• Communicating efficiently with hiring managers and employees ensuring the needs of both are met in a timely and effective manner.

• Performing background checks on potential employees, as well as checking upon given references, transcripts, and credentials.

• Negotiating salary, problem-solving, and counseling, therein establishing a rapport with the job candidate.

• Other duties as required.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Advanced knowledge with computers and Microsoft Office programs (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Ability to build successful relationships with people of diverse background.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.

• Multi-tasking and prioritization skills.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Associated degree in a human resources, nursing, or related field.

• Two or more years' experience with close interaction with clients

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources OR

• 1 year Recruiting experience.

• Healthcare experience.
