Responsible for recruiting functions, including but not limited to processing job requisitions, candidate sourcing, interviewing, background checks, and on-boarding activities. Also responsible for supporting the HR function in other areas, such as benefits, compensation, payroll, performance management, employee relations, training, and continuous improvement projects.
Responsible for full life cycle recruiting activities for all levels of candidates to include job advertisements, sourcing, interviewing, background checks, assessments and selection advice. Build and maintain a talent pipeline by developing and maintaining various recruiting sources.
Perform various tasks to support payroll and benefits, performance management, employee relations and new employee onboarding as required. Compliance management related to documentation, audits and reporting.
Perform various tasks to support workforce planning and development, safety and training initiatives.
Provides support for HR related systems including, but not limited to testing, troubleshooting and assistance with configuration.
Participate in public speaking engagements including, but not limited to employee meetings, trainings, school career events, professional organizations, etc.
Support HR leadership with key initiatives, projects and other related tasks as needed.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or relevant discipline
At least 2-3 years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment process; at least 2-3 years of experience in HR preferably as an HR Generalist
Strong working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS system(s); Workday experience a plus
Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as familiar with state and federal employment law
Proficient in Microsoft Office software
Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
Strong analytical skills and continuous improvement mindset
Able to lift up to 15lbs
PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred
