As a recruiter, you will support Heartland's growth by collaborating with Hiring Managers to provide world class, full cycle recruiting support to meet the needs of the organization in a timely and cost effective manner. You will have full responsibility for candidate sourcing, phone screening, assessment, interviewing, and managing the offer and hiring processes.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Management of open requisitions as assigned
Sourcing of passive candidates through online recruiting tools as well as candidate management through the Heartland Food Products Group careers portal
Schedule and conduct phone screens and onsite interviews
Assist with the on-boarding process and administrative functions related to HR and recruiting functions as needed
Attend recruiting events when necessary
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field is required
A minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, high-volume food manufacturing, distribution and multi-site organization preferred
Knowledge of ATS systems, preferably ADP
Strong foundation and understanding of direct candidate sourcing, with proven ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, excellent collaboration and relationship building skills
Strong work ethic demonstrated by sense of urgency, flexibility and accuracy
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
Physical Demands:
Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
Must be able to work seated using a computer and phone for long periods of time
Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and an occasional weekend
Must possess visual acuity to document company records
Continuous walking throughout plant and distribution center
Lifting up to 40 pounds
