Ryder is looking for a recruiter to work closely with upcoming Tech School graduates. This key role will impact local, regional, and national opportunities by forming relationships with young, top-trained talent. This position will impact the next generation of diesel technicians as they start their rewarding career.

This position will be responsible for providing World Class Recruiting Services to the Ryder organization in a cost effective manner, while continuously searching and providing state of the art Recruitment methodology. Position identifies, recruits, interviews and recommends candidates for entry and mid-level, high volume positions and managerial, technical, and/or professional positions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or minimum of 8 (eight) years equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 2 (two) years experience in a related area

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • General knowledge of functional area(s) assigned

  • Must have business perspective

Responsibilities

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Source, screen, interview and refer candidates to hiring manager

  • Determine best approach to fill assigned positions

  • Develop effective working relationships with placement agencies and external recruiters

  • Maintain effective working relationships with HR and business partners to ensure appropriate service levels are met

  • Ensure compliance with all legal aspects of recruiting

  • Promote Ryder as an employer of choice

  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions

  • Work in compliance with established procedures and protocols

Ability to understand and interpret data while collaborating with key stakeholders to identify actionable insights for continuous improvement and make better decisions that ultimately drives quality in hires. Experience implementing multi-faceted talent acquisition strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool to hiring leaders. Experience with managing stakeholder and candidate expectations throughout the recruitment lifecycle to maintain compliance, consistency, and quality. Demonstrated ability to assess business needs and talent markets in developing recruitment strategies, programs and tools in support of business objectives.
