About our Recruiter:

Elephant is looking for a recruiter for our headquarters location in Richmond, Virginia. The People Services department is a highly visible team that has a meaningful impact on the growth and performance of the company. As a recruiter, you will be responsible for recruiting, managing and organizing multiple roles for the Operations and Support departments with the Recruitment Manager. This position requires an individual to work successfully under pressure while demonstrating excellent organizational and communication skills. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to work independently.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Recruit for, manage and organize multiple roles at a time

  • Identify and select the best fit candidates for Elephant's culture and company needs

  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs

  • Communicate effectively to candidates and provide superior candidate experiences

  • Schedule and conduct testing, phone and in-person interviews

  • Work and communicate with employees at all levels within the company including department managers and directors

  • Manage recruitment and cross-departmental projects

  • Help develop and review Recruitment metrics and KPIs

  • Help build on the recruiting strategy via LinkedIn

  • Help develop Recruitment's talent acquisition roadmap and strategy

  • Be an employer brand ambassador and company representative for Elephant Insurance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Organized with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently

  • Creative and innovative

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work under pressure

  • Previous HR or recruitment experience/qualifications

  • Ability to make objective, timely and confident decisions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with or in a support or technical department

  • Experience working with or in an operations department (Sales, Customer Service, Claims)

  • Analytical experience

Workplace Qualifications:

  • Ability to work on a computer for a full workday

  • Ability to type on a keyboard

  • Ability to sit at a desk for a full workday

  • Ability to speak through a headset

Maintains memberships in / rapport with professional associations. * Maintains updated candidate status / disposition in applicant tracking system to ensure compliance with company policies as well as federal and state employment laws. * Advise managers on the extension of job offers and facilitate/participate in selection decision-making meetings. * Advises hiring managers and facilitates/participates in selection decision-making meetings. * Develops and recommends job offer details to hiring managers, including experience ratings and research on internal equity. * Delivers and negotiates job offers or rejections to candidates. EDUCATION * Undergraduate degree preferred EXPERIENCE * 3 years of similar experience * High-volume or agency experience preferred HCA Richmond VA
