The Hospital Recruiter, under the direction of the HRD, assists with planning, developing and implementing a dynamic and effective Recruitment Program to meet the staffing and hiring needs of Western Arizona Regional Medical Center. Responsibilities include assisting with development of recruitment strategies designed to attract, hire, and retain qualified employees with special emphasis on hard-to-fill positions such as Registered Nurses, and other Licensed Professionals.
This position must demonstrate creative recruitment strategies supported by data analysis and results. Maintains adherence to hospital policies, procedures and regulations. Participates in an interdisciplinary approach to achieving the mission, philosophy and goals of WARMC and CHS.
Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience in related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of three to five years of progressive recruiting and hospital experience preferred. Strong skills in networking, verbal communications, marketing, and interviewing.
Healthcare or clinical background required. Must possess exceptional interpersonal and professional communication skills. Requires the ability to work independently and cooperatively with other employees and Directors.
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands and deadlines. Knowledge and skill to operate personal computer, software, Internet sourcing and computer applications as well as the ability to prepare and present reports including spreadsheets. Must possess ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public.
Must be knowledgeable of Arizona State medical licensing requirements and hospital standards. Position requires flexible schedule and ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously.
