Essential duties and Responsibilities:
Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
Write job descriptions and job postings and review and edits job descriptions and postings
Develops recruitment programs, budgets, and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings
Develop and maintain network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
Initiate contact with possible qualified candidates for specific job openings
Review applications and interview applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position
Screen and refer candidates for additional interviews with others in organization
Develop recruitment programs, budgets, and collateral, such as brochures about the organization and its opportunities
Writes and places job advertising in various media
Makes public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities
Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates
Utilizes Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates
Provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants
Arranges travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants.
Performs reference and background checks on applicants
Coordinates communications with applicants
Files and maintains employment records for future references
Provide administrative support and coordination to HR department
Monitor key HR metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source of hire
Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
Staying current on the company's organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in HR or business related
A minimum of 1-year HR or recruiting experience
Must be fluent in English and Spanish
High Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent writing and communication skills
Good time management and attention to detail
Ability to work within a team environment
Able to maintain confidentiality
Excellent organization skills
