Summary

The recruiter helps assign contract employees whose skills match customers' needs. The technical recruiter is is primarily responsible for meeting the customer's technical staffing needs.

  • Delivers high-quality service to customers and contract employees by matching contract employees' skills with customers' needs.
  • Develops and retains business by providing outstanding customer service.
  • Performs a variety of tasks unique to each specific customer account.
  • Manages the order management process from receiving to completing a technical assignment.
  • Comprehends complex job orders.
  • Responds to and qualifies job orders efficiently.
  • Analyzes resumes and job applications accurately.
  • Conducts candidate reference checks. Uses candidate reference checks to develop additional business opportunities.
  • Uses recruiting tools such as [applicant tracking and/or knowledge management software] to fill assignment orders rapidly with qualified contract employees.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of existing and potential new candidates
  • Enters skill code information accurately while maintaining and updating the existing computer database.
  • Interviews candidates to evaluate their technical qualifications for assignments.
  • Makes key-skill resume submittals to acquire new or additional business.
  • Troubleshoots to resolve problems or complaints of customers and/or contract employees.
  • Administers and/or coordinates service quality training and quality performance programs.
  • Builds professional relationships with customers, contract employees and staff.
  • Post all job orders to job boards

Responsible for screening, interviewing, referring applicants and onboarding of new hires. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Creates job postings and advertisement material for approved requisitions. 2. Attends and organizes open house events/job fairs as needed. 3. Establishes relationships with University Alumni Groups, Career Placement Centers, Alternative Learning Institutions and other allied health organizations. 4. Uses a variety of sourcing techniques, network resources and innovative talent acquisition strategies to identify high performing candidates (both internal and external) to fill approved requisitions while building pipelines for projected/anticipated openings. 5. Performs all recruiting activities: screens, interviews, and refers qualified candidates to hiring managers. 6. Engages and partners with hiring managers on interviewing process and final candidate selection. 7. Notifies candidates not selected for positions. 8. Conducts reference checks and verifies applicable licenses and education when necessary. 9. Prepares and extends offers of employment in conjunction with, or on behalf of hiring managers. 10. Educates candidate on EHS compensation, benefits and performance evaluation practices/programs. 11. Prepares new hire or transfer paperwork, makes arrangements for pre-placement physical examination/testing and schedules attendance at New Hire Orientation. 12.
