Recreation Programmer II - 35 hours/week - Youth Leader / Naturalist / Environmental Education.
Enjoy working with children and youth in the outdoors? The City of Portland Recreation Division is offering an exciting opportunity to engage with the community through the Portland Youth Corps Program and other various outdoor recreation naturalist programming. This position is primarily responsible for planning and implementing the Portland Youth Corps Program, implementing outdoor naturalist programs for Portland Recreation's Before and After School program, and leading all-ages nature programming in Portland's Parks and Open Spaces. Leadership of the Portland Youth Corps involves recruiting, selecting and leading crews of local teenagers to conduct service projects in Portland's parks while implementing outdoor education, career training, and leadership training. This is a union position, CEBA (Grade 9) - Pay Range starting at $21.15/hr, $41,242.76/annually - $23.20/hr $45,240
