Located on Hawaii Island, the resort is situated on 62-acres with 1,240 guest rooms. 270,000 sq ft of banquet space, 3 one of a kind outdoor swimming pools and 4-acres of protected lagoon. The Recreation Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing a great team of pool and water staff as well as guest activities in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
What will I be doing?
The Recreation Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the team and services for the 4-acre ocean fed lagoon and pools. Additionally, developing/creating daily guest activities contributing to the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Oversee and manage daily guest activities including, but not limited to rentals, service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance, safety and security of property and guests, cleanliness of the beach, responding to guests' inquiries and resolving concerns, and meeting participation and facilitation.
Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, providing professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward.

The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - $75,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
