Recreation Attendant

Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is looking for a Recreation Attendant

Job description: Energetic Recreation Ambassador to assist with maximization of guest satisfaction related to children's resort activities for specific purpose of increasing guest satisfaction and increasing revenues.

Essential Functions:

• Day to day interaction with children of guests, involving them in structured recreational activities.

• Development of Recreation Activities programs and calendar to include new and innovative ideas to enhance guest and member experiences and increase revenue opportunities.

• Hand out towels to guests

• Bring in towels from bins

• Inventory control and activity program development and evolution.

Supportive Functions:

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions.

• Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to the Security Department.

• Attend all mandatory meetings

• Provide general public assistance, instruction and/or guidance for guests

• Keep work area neat and organized

• Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor

Physical Aspects of Position includes but not limited to

• Standing and walking throughout shift

• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30lbs

• Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions, such as heat, cold, and/or rain

Grooming/Uniforms

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.

Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and be available to work weekends and holidays.

Guest services: 1 year (Preferred)
