Community Banking (CB) & Consumer Lending (CL) Business Lines

CB/CL Recovery & Resolution Plan Team (CB/CL RRP Team)
As dedicated support for Mary Mack's organization, the CB/CL RRP Team serves as the primary liaison to the Enterprise Recovery & Resolution Plan Office (RRPO) which leads the company's efforts creating and submitting the annual Recovery Plan, which describes what actions the company will take to avoid failing in a severe financial distress event, and annual Resolution Plan (or living will), which serves as a blueprint for regulators to use in the event the institution fails.
As part of the Community Banking Business Strategy & Administration team, the newly formed CB/CL RRP Team will lead all aspects of the work associated with the planning, development, organization, execution, documentation, maintenance and testing of the business lines' Recovery and Resolution Plan requirements.
The CB/CL RRP Team is seeking 2 Business Liaison Consultant 4's (Recovery & Resolution Plan Leaders) one to support Community Banking (CB) and one to support Consumer Lending (CL). These roles will serve as the primary contact to the respective business line leaders and subject matter experts, RRP work stream leads, and functional support teams including Finance, HR, Technology & Operations, Business Continuity, Legal, and Risk. The Recovery & Resolution Plan Leader will lead and support the work to ensure the business lines fulfill the requirements of our annual Recovery and Resolution Plan submissions. A Business Initiative Consultant will support the work of each Recovery & Resolution Plan Leader.
The CB or CL Recovery & Resolution Plan Leader's responsibilities include:
Serve as the primary RRP contact to the CB or CL business line; develop and maintain strong working relationships with business line leaders, subject matter experts and corporate support teams, and monitor changes in organizational structures and business strategies for inclusion in our RRP submissions.
Coordinate the work with business line subject matter experts, Corporate Development teams, Wells Fargo Securities, Corporate FP&A, Finance, Legal and external advisors on divestiture strategies to reduce the size and complexity of the firm; specific work includes developing, updating and/or reviewing divestiture strategy playbooks, virtual data rooms and marketing materials to be used by potential investors.
Serve as the primary RRP contact to the Service Governance Office; manage the periodic update and approval of services required in recovery or resolution with business line subject matter experts, Group and Business Continuity Officers, and Finance teams.
Perform periodic assessments to support the designation of the CB or CL core business lines and mortgage servicing critical operation with the RRPO.
Support the development of a CB/CL RRP Team Governance Council, which will serve as the first line governance and control, and provide business line oversight for all RRP related activities.
Provide project management support for business line RRP-related deliverables.
Create materials for work group discussions and presentations to the CB/CL RRP Governance Council, Finance Committee, Board of Directors and regulators.
Develop, update and/or review Recovery and Resolution Plan content using a cloud-based document management tool (Wdesk training will be provided by the CB/CL RRP Team and RRPO).
On-board and train new business line participants engaged to assist with RRP-related activities.
Support business strategy, planning, and administrative duties.
Serve as business line representative to the RRPO and back-up for the Head of CB/CL RRP Team.
Successful candidates must be high performing leaders, who can lead in a fast paced, dynamic and cross functional environment. Incumbents must have excellent relationship-influence management, thought leadership, problem solving and communication skills. Fluency in synthesizing complex regulatory, financial, legal and operational processes, sharing requirements in a clear and concise manner, and managing simultaneous deliverables will be critical success factors. Successful candidates must also have the proven ability to effectively lead and partner with business line leaders, subject matter experts and corporate support teams in a large, matrixed organization across geographically dispersed locations.

Knowledge of the enterprise's governance policies and procedures, especially related to RRP.
Experience in finance, strategy, or certain analytically-focused project management roles in the financial services industry.
Strong sense of urgency and results orientation, with an outstanding ability to motivate teams across business lines and the company, and mobilize the resources to set high goals and accomplish them.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage processes and people, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

Proven ability to work independently, as well as lead cross-functional teams.
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results.
