Position Summary: To provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients within a specific nursing#department. # Responsibilities Identifies the physiologic changes induced by surgery and uses this information to plan appropriate nursing care. Identifies the pathophysiology of trauma, and uses this information to plan appropriate nursing care. Directs patient care in an individual operating room. Prepares the operating room for surgical procedures. Maintains a surgically safe environment during surgery. Identifies all surgical instrumentation by name and describes its function.
