Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Records Management Engineering Specialistto help support an exciting new Cloud Service Offering contract, Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS). Although this position allows for some remote work, the employee will be required to report onsite several days a week in Fort Meade, MD.

NOTE: This position is contingent upon contract funding and tasking.

Successful candidateservesas Subject Matter Expert involving Data and Information retentionsystems

Thecandidate willoversee and monitorRMimplementation efforts across thetenant andassess system impact(s) and requirements of the program. Additional responsibilities include the following:

  • Support in the development of governance and policies related to Records Management.

  • Execute the recommended configurations within the IL6 environment to ensure Records Management compliance and customer usability

  • Assist in the administration of records management program, including policy adherence, providing guidelines, assisting in digital implementation and defining automated methods to detect associated preservation orders.

  • Coordinate with the customer to ensure proper record retention, archival, and deletion of duplicative data

  • Provide guidance regarding system enhancement of implementation to the organization regarding RM

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • ActiveDoDTop Secret clearance

  • Masters in Computer Scienceor related field

  • 6+ years experience

  • Experience with one or more enterprise content management systems and systems of records - SharePoint, OpenText, Documentum etc.

  • Experiencewith implementingrecord and information management solution to manage record lifecycle for physical, electronic, hybrid records.

  • Demonstrated experience with Records Disposition Schedule

  • Exceptional analytical, research, andproblem solvingskills

  • Proficient in the ability to effectively manage risks, issues, and change requests

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical and program requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment

  • Ability to adapt to change effectively

  • Strong and effective communication and presentation skills

  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized

  • Solid work ethic and the ability to work in a mission critical environment independently and as part of a team

  • Able to report onsite as indicated above

The likely salary range for this position is $128,794 - $193,190, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
