RECORDS CLERK - POLICE DEPARTMENT (TEMPORARY POSITION)

The City of Gallatin is currently accepting applications for a Temporary-Seasonal Records Clerk in the Police Department. The successful candidate must be highly organized, capable of working independently with respect to routine matters, demonstrate the ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public, must be responsible and able to maintain confidentiality, and must communicate with the public courteously and tactfully.

This is a day shift position with no weekend work required. This position will work on an as needed basis.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Applicant must have a comprehensive knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, equipment and secretarial techniques.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

The ability to type at a reasonable rate of speed, and to use Microsoft Word & Excel proficiently are required. Applicant must have a High School Diploma/Equivalent. Must also have a valid driver's license.
