Come join us! Trupanion is seeking motivated individuals interested in a full-time position to join the growing Claims Support Department. If you are a confident, detail focused and self-motivated professional with a talent for staying productive while providing excellent customer service and navigating through a variety of medical records, then this position could be for you! In the Claims Support Department, members of the Records Collection team are responsible for reviewing data, making necessary changes, making follow-up requests, and ensuring accuracy and record completeness. Responsibilities include; identifying what constitutes complete and sequential medical history; organizing data to expedite claim adjudication; contacting veterinary care professionals and pet owners to acquire additional data; communicating clearly, concisely, and informatively through multiple avenues including phone, email, fax, and database comments. Upon hire, Record Collection team members will be expected to complete a training program of up to 90 days, which will cover all the necessary skills and tools necessary for the position. After the training period, members of the Records Collection team will be expected to perform at a baseline team standard of productivity and accuracy. The optimal candidate has keen problem solving abilities, a desire to work independently, strong self-motivation, attention to detail, and a minimum of two years of experience in both data entry and customer service. Joining Trupanion with an established understanding of veterinary medical terminology and medical conditions is a major plus! Qualifications (Please include a cover letter with your application!) Required Qualifications: * Must be willing to work weekends and holidays * Excellent typing and 10-key skills * 2+ years experience with data entry * 1+ years experience with customer service * Computer competency with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong documentation skills * Organized, self-motivated, hard-working problem solver who is able to work with minimal direction once objectives are clearly stated * Ability to handle stress and actively seek solutions * Outstanding verbal and written interpersonal skills * Excellent attention to detail * Ability to adapt in a quickly changing work environment * Must be pet-friendly!
