accessAbilities, Inc. a local non-profit subsidiary of Lifesteps, Inc., is seeking a full-time Records Assistant, working in the Export, PA office, providing the highest level of service to internal and external customers while maintaining First Steps Early Intervention (FSEI) program records.
Maintains records as required including: general sorting, alphabetizing, scanning, filing and distributing or mailing of records according to regulatory or agency guidelines.
Tracks/logs, audits documentation prior to scanning/filing, researches and obtains missing information as needed from therapists, Base Service Units, physicians and others as required..
Performs session note comparison to electronic time submission audit daily and communicates to others as needed.
Provides chart information for internal and external requests
Prints and assembles parent handbooks and mails documentation to parents are needed.
Is Primary Back up for Front Desk Receptionist
Other duties as assigned.
Excellent clerical, organization and time management skills with an orientation to details. Must possess good communication skills, quality customer service and basic computer skills.
One-year certification from college or technical school; and six months to one year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or training and experience.
