Salary: $69,000-$73,500 (based on experience)

OUTSOURCED RECORDS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT / INFORMATION GOVERNANCE ANALYST

The Records Information and Information Management / Information Governance (RIM/IG) Analyst position will work onsite at a customer's facility. The RIM/IG Analyst must possess a strong records management and information governance background and experience working in a fast paced environment.

Under direction of the Information Governance (IG) Manager, the scope of this position includes the following information governance activities:

  • Assist the customer with searching, tracking, and organizing attorney/client records.

  • .PST import/export queries

  • Matter mobility/ Lateral Moves.

The Records Information and Information Management / Information Governance Analyst is responsible for customer service and providing support related to client matters.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY…

  • Participate in the information governance program administration and coordination

  • Perform basic records center operations in accordance with established RIM/IG procedures.

  • Classify and process incoming information in compliance with organizational requirements.

  • Perform data entry as assigned.

  • Maintain accurate records and respond to requested queries in a timely manner.

  • Support various matter mobility projects designated by the customer.

  • Provide customer support via email, phone or in person, i.e., logistics and procedural support, enforce standards and promote best practices.

  • Contribute to information governance program compliance

  • Perform tasks supporting the organization's information governance procedures.

  • Assist with RIM/IG program implementation, including the security awareness campaign, information governance updates, and presentations.

  • Utilize technology effectively in support of the RIM/IG program.

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Interact with end users to provide effective customer service.

  • Proactively communicate with stakeholders, via email, phone calls, and schedule follow up meetings.

  • Interpret and respond in a timely manner to service requests.

  • Liaison with Iron Mountain Account Management.

  • Improvement in Records Information and Information Management / Information Governance procedures compliance

  • Achievement of monthly metrics

  • Good coordination and effective working relationships

  • Possess the ability to work within the organizational structure

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS…

  • Provide assist the IG Manager with established processes and procedures related to matter management including:

  • Matter Mobility / Lateral Moves

  • Searching for and providing requested information

  • Organizing information for internal and external customers to support company processes.

  • Build external and internal relationships

EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS…

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferred but not required

  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant RIM/IG or Records experience preferred

  • Exhibit knowledge of records procedures and records retention principles and practices

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Document Management System (NetDocuments) and Records Management Systems (RMS) required.

  • Strong analytical and time management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of business English, spelling, and punctuation.

  • Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision or questions.

  • Ability to deliver a high level of customer service.

  • Ability to deal effectively with others and work effectively in high or moderate stress and fast-paced situations.

  • Able to work under high pressure, deadline sensitive situations.

  • High productivity, accuracy and turnaround required.

  • The candidate must project a professional image and maintain a respectful approach with their colleagues as part of their work ethic.

  • The position requires discretion in the handling of business confidential and sensitive information on a high level.

  • 1+ years Outlook Exchange Console Command (Queries) preferred.

Reasonably expected salary range: $48,200.00 - $60,300.00
