A team member at this level is expected to perform Reviews Columbus Engine Center (CEC) Workscopes and Customer instructions/requirements prior to inspecting engine records. This position requires a mechanical and technical aptitude and an ability to follow work instructions. Comply with all environmental, health, and safety requirement.
Proficiency in interpretation and compliance to FAA Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Customer Specifications, applicable Technical Data and all CEC and/or Customer Workscopes.
You will perform reviews of electronic and hardcopy records such as, but not limited to disassembly, assembly and inspection records packages to ensure accuracy and compliance to customer requirements.
Coordinate records requirements with customer programs and customers to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory requirements.
Engine mini-package development and review based on production schedule per customer requirements using assembly and inspection packages, etc.
You will perform records analysis and research on customer records questions or concerns.
Records review via SAP, ESVR and SOLUMINA systems.
You will support internal and customer audits of engine records.
Final records scanning to CD and mail out records to customer.
ACE Tools usage for Records related items.
Perform root cause analysis of records non-conformances (when applicable), make recommendations for corrective action, and track for effectiveness.
Interacts with Operations, Materials, Component Repair, Customer Programs and Engineering personnel to resolve any records-related issues in a timely manner.
Communicates with Customers to resolve any records-related issues in a timely manner.
Initiates / Implements / Communicates ACE initiatives and business metrics / objectives to provide continuous improvement to the records process.
Provides training / awareness relative to engine records processes.
Works overtime as required.
You will perform other related / associated duties as necessitated by responsibilities or as directed by supervision.
You will perform all tasks at the highest level of safety awareness
Education / Certifications
High school graduate or GED
6 + months engine inspection experience
You are a US Person (Permanent Resident) or US Citizen
Associate Degree, Technical School Certificate or other post High School Diploma or Equivalent
FAA Certificate (Airframe & Powerplant, Powerplant or qualifies for Repairman issuance)
Ability to read and interpret documents such as Environmental Health and Safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
Proficiency in use of applicable technical data such as, but not limited to Engine Manuals, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Customized Engine Management Program, Electronic Maintenance Management Program, Component Maintenance Manuals, etc) and related technical documents / procedure manuals.
CEC Inspection Stamp.
Knowledgeable of FAR 145 requirements.
Knowledge of Quality System Records.
Operates proficiently all SAP and ESVR program system options pertaining to records inspection functions. 3+ years of experience working in a 145 repair station preferred FAA Safety Sensitive
