Summary of Job Duties:

  • Sorts or supervises sorting of all incoming documents for processing.

  • Accurately Indexes all imaged items.

  • Produces high quality (clear, legible, does not require rotation) images of all documents submitted to Records.

  • Assists in training and supervision of other workers who are indexing documents to ensure accuracy and quality of images.

  • Manages supply orders including standard office supplies, transcript paper, graduation supplies, etc.

  • Processes student requests such as unofficial transcripts, letter of good standing, and immunization requests.

  • Maintains ability to resolve constituent's questions and to know when to consult with the other staff members and Registrars, including the presence of mind to use authority wisely.

  • Exhibits exemplary organizational and customer service skills, assuring the maintenance of the highest levels of professionalism and office decorum.

  • Provides essential information and problem resolution.

  • Ensures accurate and effective representation of the College and follow-through with prospective students, enrolled students, business community and high school officials.

  • Performs front office operations.

  • Serves as primary phone customer service agent.

  • Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) or higher

  • Ability to maintain confidential records

  • Professionalism

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of computers and software applications, specifically Microsoft Office Products

  • Team minded

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 1 year or more experience in an administrative role
