Responsibilities

The Record Center Specialist serves customers by maintaining and processing physical assets stored in our warehouse. These vital team members process incoming and outgoing orders while also loading/moving boxed items and wheeled bins. The RCS handles destructions, internal moves, permanent withdrawals and special projects. They collaborate with team members to enable success for all.

  • Process incoming orders; scan carton barcodes and locations on Safekeeper system

  • Investigate and resolve any order discrepancy for incoming or outgoing orders; manifest all orders, bundle and prepare for shipment

  • Accurately prepare all necessary paperwork

  • Communicate any difficult order issues to manager

  • Inspect and maintain all equipment, including Telxon scanner, wedge, Safekeeper terminal and ladders

  • Collaborate with team members

  • Observe safety procedures and report any safety issues

  • Perform all physical requirements without assistance

  • Travel between facilities when necessary

  • Mentor others as opportunities arise

  • Work on your feet all day

  • Lift, load and move boxes (average weight: 40 pounds)

  • Climb stairs, lift up to 70 pounds and be able to use tools to maneuver materials

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least one to two years' experience in a warehouse/physical atmosphere and/or service industry and/or team-focused environment

  • Basic computer skills required

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Commitment to adhere to and enforce all security procedures

  • Work well in a team environment

VIEW JOBS 4/16/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-15T00:00 Datacenter Technician Information International Associates (IIa) is seeking a Datacenter Technician responsible for performing the flow of physical technology products through the Datacenter where products are crafted, racked, stacked, configured, and tested to meet specific customer needs. This position will work with little or minimal direction, handling products and updating associated information systems, and will understand network systems and procedures for connectivity; and knowledge of facilities management activities and response procedures associated with monitoring systems. Work Location: Iron Mountain mine, located in Boyers, Pennsylvania Duties and Responsibilities: * Datacenter Operations Technician will need to be able to multi task and prioritize their workload in an independent manner. * Handle tickets for local support and implementation purposes and perform tasks as documented * Perform physical server builds and decommissions as per SOPs, perform QA on builds, and completing deployment documentation in appropriate systems. * Perform racking and stacking of hardware including cross-connect patching and labeling per best practices. * Demonstrate conceptual understanding of network systems, topology and troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, DNS, firewall, Switch and Router roles. * Conceptual understand of the procedures for providing connectivity including basic port enabling, cross connecting and the types of connectivity available. * Assist customers with on-site work as needed including being interactive with customers and visitors to confirm access credentials. * Provide remote hands assistance for remote technicians * Demonstrating basic working knowledge of troubleshooting and response procedures associated with all alarms, alerts and notifications from all monitoring systems, including fire, security, power, and HVAC * Able to interpret and respond to monitoring events accordingly. * Participate in escalation events, acting as the local point of contact as needed, understand the escalation paths both locally and globally. * Following direction in assistance of Data Center systems maintenance including PDU installation, power circuit auditing, lighting upkeep, and rudimentary CRAC unit management. * Work with outside resources to facilitate provisioning as well as participate in assisting contracted third parties. * Maintain Data Center Inventories, spares, RMA and other required procedures. * Work as part of an On-Call team. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications / Required Skills: * Experience with assembling, deploying and troubleshooting server hardware. * Working Understanding of best practices of data center management * Working Understanding of network topography and protocols * Working Understanding of data center cooling/HVAC systems and equipment * Working Understanding of datacenter electrical systems, power deployment and usage, including backup systems * Working Understanding of internet related technologies and protocols * A+, Network+, certifications, knowledge or experience in highly recommended * Must be comfortable working in an unconventional environment (underground). * Must be comfortable working alone. * Must possess strong customer service attitude and interpersonal skills. * Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proven ability to execute multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. * Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Demonstrated flexibility, organization and self-motivation. Clearance: Must be able to obtain and hold a Public Trust Security Clearance. You do not need a current/active clearance to apply, but must be able to pass a government Public Trust (SF-85) background investigation.
