Role Purpose / Position Summary

This position will produce high-quality printers and mechanical assemblies, per procedures/specifications within the standard labor hours. The incumbent will be responsible for set up and perform assigned assembly operations within specific target product family while meeting quality standards. The incumbent will provide back-up support for other functions within this job description as personnel requirements dictate.

Key Accountabilities / Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting Quality goals and on time delivery associated with respective jobs.

  • The ability and understanding to perform process operations from procedural documentation and training within standard labor hours.

  • Perform visual inspection of Configuration product for physical damage and missing parts.

  • Ability to test Configuration product using a PC based test system.

  • Record inspection results via PC-based Configuration order tracking system.

  • Prep and clean Configuration product prior to shipment in accordance to established standards.

  • Associate needs to be punctual. Can be depended on to handle his /her normal work functions.

  • Follow company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain ISO 9001 readiness.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Training and Skills

  • Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent.

  • English skills, reading, writing, and the ability to follow verbal instruction.

  • Basic Computer Skills desirable

  • Frequent lifting may be required up to 35lbs

VIEW JOBS 9/12/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-12-11T00:00 Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, the Watch Repair Technician Level 1 is responsible to dismantle the case components of the watches, in preparation for the polishing, and also to prepare/assemble the case components of the watches, prior to encasing of the movement. The position requires a high level of dexterity and focus to handle small parts and provide a best-in class quality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Dismantling * Dismantle the timepieces and insert all parts dismantled into the repair box: * Remove the strap or the bracelet. * Separate movement/dial/hands from the case components. * Dismantle the watches case components (see list below). * Ensure that the repair labels are correctly installed on the repair boxes. * Transfer the repair box to polishing. Case Preparation * Install and assemble the watches case components in preparation of the encasing of the movement: * Crystals * Case Tubes * Correctors * Pushers * Bezels * Flanges * Gaskets * Check and ensure water-resistance of the case. * Transfer to the workshop in order to terminate the repair process. Maintenance and Organization of the Workshop * Follow RNA and Brands' specifications: * Tools * Technical procedure * Work assignments * Standards of Quality & Standard Time of Operations (STOs) * Maintain Tools and Equipment * Ensure that all equipment used are calibrated and maintained at a high standard * Proper layout and accessibility of all tools and equipment * Maintain a cleaned, organized and safe working area Education: * High School Diploma or GDA Required experience: * Technical experience in the watch industry is preferred. * Working experience with luxury brands is a plus. Technical skills / abilities: * High level of dexterity and focus to handle small parts, with a strong attention to detail. * Understanding of Mechanical Applications is a plus. * Ability to follow instructions and efficiently provide a high level of quality. Other Skills and Attributes: * Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Good communication and listening skills. * Computer skills are a plus.
