A Central Reconcilement Specialist is responsible for completing daily general ledger/DDA reconcilements as well as researching and clearing the outages. A Specialist I should be able to complete the research of most outages with little assistance from management. The Central Reconcilement Specialists is responsible for monitoring account users/tellers with excessive outages and reporting repeat offenders to management.
Central Reconcilement Specialists must demonstrate our core values of Integrity, Leadership and Accountability in their dealings with all internal customers. Associates must ensure compliance with South State Holdings, Inc. Code of Business Conduct and Ethics as well as all operating procedures.
Specialists are responsible for balancing tellers, identifying outages and clearing outages in a timely manner. Most outages should be cleared within seven days of the occurrence with little assistance from management. This team is also responsible for balancing ATM, VISA, ACH and Loan Reconcilements.
Specialist will work with Teller leaders, FSR's and Retail Operations Specialists to ensure associates are submitting reports and responding to additional research requests or communication in a timely manner.
Responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of efficient operational procedures.
Specialist help identify opportunities to obtain efficiency improvement within the department.
Specialist will track outages and ensure management is aware of any excessive or repeat outages.

Prefer previous Banking experience or experience in account reconcilement
Fiserv Premier core system experience preferred but not required
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Possess strong analytical and research skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be exceptionally self-motivated and able to work in rapidly changing situations.
Must have excellent communication, organizational, problem solving and time management skills.
Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining composure, and meeting deadlines.
Work as a team with co-workers to ensure all functions are completed timely and correctly.
