As a member of the Leveraged Services, US Operations, the Reconciliation Analyst role requires a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual to work in a team environment, manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive delivery schedule for both Trust Company and SEI Wealth Platform clients. The Reconciliation team delivers daily, weekly and monthly bank DDA cash and position reconciliation exceptions by using TLM and/or a manual equivalent to the appropriate parties in the operations, relationship administration, Back Office and Global clients.

Position Description:

  • Basic processing and/or service activities specific to team function

  • Reviewing, analyzing, and entering client information and transactions into multiple systems

  • Setting up securities, general account level maintenance, and some level of client contact.

  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely, accurate and professional manner.

  • Working on special projects as needed.

  • Perform research & analysis of root cause conditions.

  • Implement solutions as assigned.

  • Interact effectively with multiple operational processing teams.

  • Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, quality and privacy.

  • Manage a time-sensitive delivery schedule.

  • Adhering to the client specific SLAs, as outlined

  • Working with operations users and business analysts within the SWP Team to understand the current reconciliation process and end users requirements.

  • Effectively coordinate, manage and complete multiple duties and assignments concurrently and within acceptable timelines.

  • Provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external clients and service partners, responding timely and professionally to client inquiries as well as handle problems

  • Must be able and willing to work effectively independently, as well as in a team, in an open floor environment

  • Must be detail oriented

Position Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent work experience required. Preference in: Accounting, Finance or Business related field.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, individual may be required to move around the office and from building to building. This may expose the individual to weather conditions outside.

  • The individual has to be able to be stationary at a computer for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

  • Our office is an open environment. The individual must be able to successfully work in an open environment with a moderate noise level.

The Investment Manager Services Unit has an opportunity for a Reconciliation Specialist to support their Recon Admin Team. This would be a dedicated resource to support the solutions and technology services for this team. This role would drive the development and continuous maintenance of technology solutions for the team. This role will work with IMS Recon and IMS Solutions to identify, develop and implement technology based solutions to increase operational efficiency, improve accuracy and mitigate operational risk. This role requires a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual to manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive delivery schedule. The Recon Admin Specialist responsibilities are to support the short-term and long-term initiatives within IMS. The responsibilities for this position may include some or all of the following: Support and manage the implementation of workflow tool Partner and work with Solutions on CARS enhancements Support build out the new version Assist with scoping requirements Create interfaces to assist trouble shooting Coordinate all technology related on-boarding activities for new clients Support and manage metrics reporting High-level management reporting to share with sr. management Focus on granular detail on specific tasks or analysts to measure efficiency Facilitate the process for moving tasks / responsibilities Offshore Lead Conference Calls Provide Metrics to Offshore Team Play a part in a possible visit to Offshore partners Participate in the management of the Offshore Teams Training and Procedures Creating the Plan Setting Expectations Additional responsibilities as needed: Communication with outside third party brokers and custodians to obtain client account data Ensure that all outside data is received and processed Oversee and ensure all scheduled tasks are completed in a timely manner Ensure internal and external clients receive all reconciliation output by the designated SLA's Manage and resolve internal and external client issues and inquiries Assist in setting up new funds or clients in the Recon System Support problem and error resolution on a timely basis Ensure all established processing procedures and controls are completed accurately and timely on a daily basis, including daily pricing procedures as well as daily trade processing Participate in team projects Position Requirements BA/BS degree preferably in Accounting, Finance or business related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience Minimum 2 years Industry experience required Experience with Sungard InvestOne and Advent Geneva accounting systems Strong organizational and analytical skills Detail oriented Team Player Flexible with initiative to drive change Ability to work under pressure Proven project management experience Excellent Interpersonal and communications skills Excellent problem solving skills Proficient with Excel, Access, Bloomberg, Fiserv Frontier Recon Securities and reporting tools a plus.
