Provides a high level ofquality customer service to all customers whether in person or on thetelephone. Greets customers, determinestheir needs, and notifies appropriate staff. Projects a professional and friendly image of the bank and the communityit serves.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greets customers, vendors, job applicants and other visitors.
Assists in the opening and closing of the bank
Answers & directs telephone calls (take messages, etc.)
Maintains backup tapes
Sort, distribute in and outgoing mail
Orders supplies for branch
Assists in Personal Banking function by performing the following duties:
Performs basic services for customers; accepting check re-ordering requests, re-encoding ATM cards, receiving safe deposit payments, etc.
Answers basic customer questions; i.e. services and products available, CD rates, account characteristics, etc.
Escorts customers to the safe deposit boxes
Travel between branches is required; some travel between banks may be necessary
Various other tasks as assigned
Some college is preferred
High School Diploma
Fluent in MS Office
Excellent interpersonal skills is required
Pleasant and professional demeanor is essential
Should have experience taking orders and satisfying the requests of customers
