The Receptionist is responsible for answering and routing phone calls, greeting visitors and general administrative duties. The position performs routine daily activities and must demonstrate strong communication and client service skills, as well as have good organizational and time management skills.
What you will do:
Greet visitors and answer and route incoming phone calls;
Perform general administrative duties and clerical support, including typing, processing invoices, processing expense reports, and other duties as assigned;
Maintenance and update of phone system and contact information;
Maintain conference room schedules and set-up/clean-up for meetings;
Coordinate and follow-up on office/building maintenance requests;
Assist in maintaining effective relationships with internal and external clients;
Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment and Skanska Safety and Health Management Program;
Direct persons to correct destination;
Deal with queries from the public and customers;
Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization;
Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness;
General administrative and clerical support;
Receive/send mail and deliveries;
Tidy and maintain the reception area;
Perform general administrative duties such as typing, copying and filing.
