SUMMARY & SCOPE: This role will directly report to the General Manager and perform a variety of clerical, recordkeeping, and customer service-related tasks to assist with the goals and objectives of Houston, TX location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and direct clients and visitors.
  • Work Effectively with all departments for maximum efficiency and return on investment in a safe environment.
  • Answers phone calls and emails and responds appropriately.
  • Set Delivery appointments.
  • Interacts directly with Customers, Vendors, and Employees as required.
  • Responsible for filing of various documents as well as imaging of documents.
  • Review and proofread documents and make necessary updates and suggestions.
  • Perform data entry into spreadsheets as required.
  • Check mail, deliveries and distribute.
  • Will maintain and manage inventory office supplies.
  • Create access badges, grant, and remove access.
  • Assist with billing and credits as needed.
  • Assist other departments with projects or tasks as needed.
  • Participate and complete all required training activities.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment is always maintained.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement for all duties.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to greet visitors, clients, and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Ability to proofread.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes as well as maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Must have strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills and be able to prioritize work.
  • Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems.
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
  • High school graduate.
  • Prior work experience in Billing, Customer Service and/or Administrative preferred.

EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform computer-related tasks.
  • Occasionally lift and move boxes or office supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
