Under the direction of the Executive Director or Administrative Assistant, assumes
responsibility for the clerical operations of the Facility.
1.Demonstrates ability to adjust to changes in unit / shift assignments to meet
2.Responsible for telephone, intercom, and paging system operations.
3.Performs typing and computer work for all departments, requiring general
knowledge of all departmental operations.
4.Processes mail for residents and delivers it to their rooms. Sorts Facility mail and
puts in appropriate mail boxes.
5.Maintains rolodex, resident list, and resident mail instructions.
6.Assists visitors when appropriate and verifies the visitors sign-in log..

2.Is knowledgeable of resident rights and supports an atmosphere which allows for
the privacy, dignity and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment.
3.Supports, cooperates with, and implements specific procedures and programs for:
OSHA and safety, including universal precautions and safe work practices,
established fire/safety/disaster plans, risk management, and security, report and/or
correct unsafe working conditions, equipment repair and maintenance needs.

Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Business
background, typing skills, and computer knowledge preferred.
