We currently have a long term temporary opening in the medical field for an intelligent, highly-skilled Receptionist in a growing company to work on Saturdays and Sundays. This successful and thriving company offers a career-building work environment with fulfilling challenges and is based in the Santa Rosa, California region. Are you a hard worker who can tackle multiple projects at the same time while keeping a smile? Then this Receptionist position would be a great fit for you. Your responsibilities in this role

  • Look after various office files and provide general office filing support

  • Welcoming visitors

  • Aid other administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry and Internet research tasks

  • Handle and route all incoming phone calls

  • Organize, review, and allocate incoming mail according to specified procedures

  • Perpetuate a number of different office filing processes and offer general office filing support

  • Use strong prioritization skills and a sense of urgency

  • Place orders for office and kitchen supplies


  • Less than one year of experience preferred

  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

  • Strong customer service and office administrative skills

  • Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast paced environment

  • Strong familiarity with customer service

  • Faxing experience

  • Foundational knowledge in filing

  • Solid understanding of switchboard phones from 1-10 lines

  • Copying experience required

  • Highly organized and self-motivated
